News!!
Robin called on Sunday and said that Chris was going to be home Wednesday and wanted to know if we could do a Skype call while he was there. He will then be headed off for a month for more training. We made arrangements for me to let her know when we were both going to be home.
I went to work and told everyone how sweet it was for her to let us have some of her time with her husband as he has already been mostly gone for a month.
Last night when I got home from play practice and Terry got off from fire class I sent her a text and we all got on the computer with the cameras. Chris said he had a file to send me. It started coming through and I looked at Terry and said "I'll bet it is a sonogram". And yes it was!
They looked so good as we discussed how excited we are about their news. They are going to be great parents and we are going to love being grandparents.
We did have to talk about how she was pregnant while they were here at Christmas which is why she couldn't help refinish the cabinet. I can't believe they had those who has to have the first grandbaby conversations without telling us they were. They are so sneaky!!
So now Terry and I have to put our house up for sale so we can get the fifth wheel and live in their driveway. We are sure they won't mind. Everyone who knows Terry knows how much he loves to hold babies! In fact today I was talking about holding the baby at Jeremy's wedding which will be soon after the baby comes and my boss said. Oh you know better than that. Terry isn't going to let you hold that baby! When I told him that he said "oh yeah you can hold it while I am getting settled in the chair so you can hand it to me."

That first 12 weeks -- sometimes expectant parents want to wait and make sure they make it through that time period before they announce it.
So happy for all of you.
Yay! Congrats! That's wonderful news.
My dad was just like Terry. He'd even hold other people's babies if they offered. It's a particularly sweet characteristic in a man.
